„The Poco Loco hostel is located in a very central part of Poznan, within easy walking distance to many of the main attractions and the cities nightlife. Entering into the hostel you immediately feel comfortable, the hostel feels ‘lived in’ unlike other commercial hostels. This makes you feel like you are welcome and that you too may also want to live in the hostel. Passing the reception counter you see to your right a large living area with ample sitting space. These sitting areas are inviting and offered us a perfect hangout during the mornings and evenings. Turning right once again you see a tidy kitchen with a small adjoining balcony . The bedrooms themselves are thoughtfully designed with a spacious bathroom and large storage boxes.

Poco-Loco takes itself to the ‘next level’ by having extraordinary staff. One staff member gave me and another gentleman a particularly priceless historical account of the past 100-ish years over a traditional Polish lunch. It’s those kind gestures, the gestures where someone goes totally above and beyond their job description that are invaluable to travellers like myself. „
